AFTER MONTHS OF speculation about a feud among the Beckhams, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham hit the nuclear button last night in a six-part Instagram post.
The 26-year-old claimed that his parents David and Victoria have “controlled” him for most of his life and that he has been subjected to “endless attacks from my parents”.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Beckham wrote in his Instagram post.
David Beckham is currently at the World Economic Forum in Davos to record a podcast and refused to answer journalist’s questions on the fallout.

Brooklyn is the eldest son of the Beckhams and is an aspiring chef and former photographer.
And while David made his name in football and Victoria rose to fame as a member of the Spice Girls, the two have since made themselves a global brand.
David was knighted last year, is a UNICEF ambassador and is president and co-owner of Inter Miami, while Victoria has become a fashion designer and is widely viewed as a style icon.
There has been speculation about tensions between Brooklyn Beckham and family members David, Victoria, Cruz and Romeo Beckham since his 2022 marriage to wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31.
Nicola is an actress and the daughter of American billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz.
Much of the speculation on the feud centres on the wedding.
In his Instagram post, Brooklyn claimed that his parents have been “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped”.
Former Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria was accused by Brooklyn of cancelling “making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress”.
There had been speculation in the media at the time that Nicola had refused to wear one of Victoria’s designs, opting instead to wear a Valentino dress.
However, in a 2022 interview with Variety, Nicola said she had “really wanted” to wear Victoria’s design and added: “A few months down the line, she (Victoria) realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.”
She further remarked: “She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”
Meanwhile, in an article with Vogue in the same year, it was reported that the Valentino wedding dress was the “culmination of a year’s worth of conversations with Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s team, two trips to the Rome HQ and two US fittings”.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn claimed that Victoria “hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song”.
The song was performed by singer and actor Marc Anthony, who is the top selling salsa artist of all time.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” Brooklyn wrote on Instagram.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Brooklyn said he and Nicola renewed their vows following this in order to “create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment”.
Last year, a source told People Magazine that Nicola was “in tears” on the wedding night and added: “Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, ‘The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up… Victoria Beckham!’”
Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence from David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in May also fuelled speculation of a rift.
Brooklyn wrote on Instagram: “We still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him.
“He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.
“When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face.”
At the time, a source told the BBC that Brooklyn had chosen not to attend his father’s birthday party as his younger brother Romeo was attending with a woman that he had previously been linked to.
In his post last night, Brooklyn claimed that Victoria has “repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable”.
Elsewhere, Brooklyn alleged that he has “received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders” and added: “Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer.”
Last month, Cruz Beckham said their parents would “never unfollow their son” in response to a Daily Mail story that had claimed they had done so.
“Not true. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right,” Cruz, 20, wrote on Instagram in December.
“They woke up blocked as I did.”
