THE WOMAN at the centre of an online storm earlier this year after footage emerged of her putting a cat into a wheelie bin has been fined £250 at Coventry Magistrates’ Court. Mary Bale (45) pleaded guilty to the charge of causing unnecessary suffering, though a second charge of failing to provide the cat with a sustainable environment was dropped.
