UPDATE: 3-year-old Saoirse Carr found safe and well

Gardaí have cancelled the Child Rescue Alert.

Updated 9.10pm

GARDAI HAVE CANCELLED a Child Rescue Ireland Alert for a 3-year-old girl who was missing from her home in Belturbet, county Cavan.

Saoirse Carr and her mother Rachel Mc Donald Carr (45) have been found safe and well.

Gardaí thanked the media and the public for their assistance.

Alert issued 7.24pm and cancelled at 9pm.
