IT’S 43 DAYS UNTIL Christmas Day, in case you hadn’t realised.

And Dublin has officially decided it’s time to get festive by flicking the switch on its Christmas lights on Henry Street this evening.

With the honours being performed by 98FM DJ Adrian Kennedy, all was set for a merry old time of it.

Going by the photos, it would be a curmudgeonly person indeed who didn’t feel just a little bit Christmassy in the aftermath.

Roll on 25 December, that’s what we say.
