BY NOW YOU have probably managed to watch about half a dozen Christmas movies.
The music in a Christmas film can really make it and can give you that warm festive feeling. According to FiveThirtyEight, who analysed songs on IMBD, Jingle Bells is the most commonly used song in these films.
It has appeared in a whopping 373 movies. Jingle Bells seems to be a textbook tune for setting the mood.
In second place is Auld Lang Syne, which always seems to be played at a sad part of the film, followed by Silent Night.
What’s your favourite Christmas tune? Have a natter about it in the comments below while we whip up a turkey sandwich…
