One person killed, 3 injured in shooting at Northern Arizona University

The conditions of the injured victims are not yet known.

ONE PERSON DIED and three others were wounded in an early morning shooting at Northern Arizona University.

School public relations director Cindy Brown told reporters that the suspected shooter is in custody. The campus is not on lockdown.

She said the first police call about the gunfire came in at 1.20am. The shooting occurred in a parking lot outside Mountainview Hall dormitory at the northeast side of the Flagstaff campus.

No further details about the incident, suspect or victims are yet known. It is not clear if anybody involved was a student.

The four-year public university has more than 25,000 total undergraduates.
