Woman charged over crash which killed three-year-old boy

A 36-year-old woman who had been travelling in the car with the toddler was also critically injured in the collision with another vehicle.

A 25-YEAR-old woman is due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with a road collision in which a three-year-old boy was killed on Monday.

The crash occurred on Monday evening at Annamarron in Monaghan. The three-year-old boy was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in was in collision with another car. A 36-year-old woman who was in the car with the toddler was also critically injured.

Two women who were travelling in the other car were taken to hospital after the collision.

The 25-year-old woman arrested in connection with the collision will appear before Carrickmacross District Court later this morning.
