First things first: the weather. Met Éireann says it’s gonna be a wet day.
Getting the train between Dublin and Belfast today? Here’s some good news for you.
Here’s how things are looking in Dublin:
In Donegal, the Cullavaney Road is closed between Raphoe and Convoy as council staff deal with a fallen tree.
In Kerry, traffic is down to one lane on the N70 Iveragh Road in Killorglin for works. Diversions are in place.
In Cork, a crash is partially blocking the R585 Crookstown/Ballylickey Road between Crookstown and Béal na Bláth.
There are southbound delays now on the M50 from J7 Lucan to J9 Red Cow. Northbound traffic is moving well.
Elsewhere in Dublin:
Live Drive reports that there’s been a breakdown on the off-ramp from the M50 southbound to J9 Red Cow in the hard shoulder.
Take note if you’re passing by Heuston Station.
Here’s some reading for you if you’re stuck on the bus, train or Luas:
On the N7, a bus has broken down in the left lane of the off-ramp from the N7 inbound to J4 Rathcoole approaching Fitzmaurice Bridge.
Further in, it’s very busy inbound from before M50 Interchange to the city centre.
In Cork, traffic is slow approaching the Dunkettle Interchange from the N40 South Ring Road and the M8 Dublin Road.
There are also delays on the N28 Ringaskiddy Road eastbound approaching Shanbally Cross.
In Galway, meanwhile, it’s busy westbound on Bóthar na dTreabh from before the Coolagh roundabout to the Briarhill junction, as well as on the N17 southbound from Loughgeorge to Claregalway.
Watch out for inbound delays on the N84 Headford Road from Ballinfoyle to the Sean Mulvoy Road junction.
In more Cork news, there’s just been a crash westbound on the N40 South Ring Rd near J6 Kinsale Road.
In Dublin, the incident on St John’s Road West has been cleared, but traffic remains heavy on approach from the Con Colbert Road through to Heuston Station.
Back to Cork, where a crash on the N40 South Ring Road westbound near J6 Kinsale Rd has now been cleared.
Gardaí have also cleared a collision from the R585 Crookstown/Ballylickey Road between Crookstown and Béal na Bláth.
In Meath, there are delays following a crash on the R123 Drogheda/Julianstown Road in Julianstown at Whitecross National School.
In Dublin, Gardiner Street is slow inbound from after the Summerhill junction to Beresford Place.
Here’s how the rest of the city looks.
There’ll be no 122 buses on the North Circular Road between Dorset Street and Berkeley Road from 10pm until midnight tonight.
