Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Coolock shooting

The shooting took place at 9.40pm last night when it is understood a lone gunman fired two shots from a shotgun at the house.

GARDAÍ IN COOLOCK, Dublin are investigating a shooting in at a house on Moatview Avenue in Priorswood.

The shooting took place at about 9.40pm last night when it is understood a lone gunman fired two shots from a shotgun at the house.

No one was injured in the incident as there was nobody in the property at the time.

The gunman escaped on foot and no arrests have been made.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen anything to contact Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 4200.
