How often do you cycle?

One in four Dubliners cycle at least once a week, according to the NTA.

NEW FIGURES FROM the National Transport Authority (NTA) show that residents of Irish cities are collectively removing around 660,000 car journeys from the road each day by opting for alternative modes of transport – including cycling.

The 2025 Walking and Cycling Index found a sharp increase in bike use in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford. The number of people cycling five or more days a week has doubled in the capital over the past two years.

More than 92 million bike trips were recorded in Dublin in 2025, with one in four residents saying that they cycle at least once a week.

With cycling on the rise across certain parts of Ireland, we want to turn the question to you.
