Cannabis plants seized at Wicklow house

A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene.

A MAN IN his 50s has been arrested after gardaí seized cannabis plants and cannabis herb from a house in Wicklow.

Gardaí targeted the house at Ballard in Rathdrum this morning and carried out a planned search of the property.

During the search the drugs, worth an estimated €37,000, were seized.

The man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Bray garda station for questioning.
