81-year-old woman who went missing in Bangor dies in hospital
Northern Ireland’s police service thanked the public for their help in looking for the missing woman.
AN ELDERLY WOMAN who went missing from her home in Bangor, Co Down last night has died in hospital.
Inspector Stephen McGuigan of the PSNI said that the woman was found this afternoon near to where she went missing in the Ashbury area of the town.
“We would pay tribute to local residents and the Community Rescue Service who worked so hard to find [the woman].
“Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.”
