How does your home compare to our average reader when it comes to energy efficiency?

Compare the energy efficiency of your home to other readers.

ONE OF THE smartest things you can do for your home is to make it more energy-efficient.

There are so many benefits to making improvements to your home with a view to improving your BER. A better BER rating means a warmer, more comfortable home, fewer draughts, and lower energy bills. You’ll also be helping to reduce Ireland’s carbon emissions.

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) wants you to have a more energy-efficient home, with government-funded grants and expert advice to support your Home Energy Upgrade journey.

Today, we want to find where you are on your Home Energy Upgrade journey, as well as how your answers compare to those of the average reader. You will be asked to rank several statements on a scale of 1 to 10, and when you do, you’ll see an average of our readers’ scores, giving you a sense of how your home’s energy efficiency compares to that of readers at large.

Once you’ve had your say, visit SEAI.ie to explore the full range of grants and resources — and take the next step towards a warmer, cheaper-to-run, and more sustainable home.
