Quiz: Can you pass our mini-eye test?

Can you read this comfortably?

THERE AREN’T MANY things in life that are as important as your eyesight.

As we get older, it’s normal for our eyesight to deteriorate to a degree. You might notice it when watching sports on the TV, reading a book in the evening, or even while playing a quiz on your phone

One of the most common eyesight conditions that tends to start affecting people around the age of 40 is presbyopia. Presbyopia is a condition wherein close-up text is blurry, causing people to squint or hold whatever they’re reading at arm’s length.

Some signs you might have presbyopia include:

  • Close‑up text looking blurry
  • Needing more light than usual, or needing to increase the brightness settings on your phone
  • Getting headaches after reading
  • Feeling like your eyes get tired more easily

Now, we’re not the professionals. Naturally, our eye test will be a little bit simpler than the kind of test you’d get at your local Specsavers. Nevertheless, if you notice yourself squinting, having difficulty with the answers, or holding your phone at arm’s length to see our quiz clearly, then it’s probably time to get your eyesight checked out.

Today, we want to find out if you can pass our mini-eye test. Hold your phone within 18 inches of your face and see how you do.
