GARDAÍ IN CORK ARE investigating the cause of a fire which killed a man in a flat on North Main St, Youghal.
Firefighters were alerted to the fire at around 2.30am, and the emergency services discovered the body of a 32-year-old man at the premises.
Gardaí have preserved the scene for a technical examination and have notified the state pathologist.
The body remains at the scene.
