IF YOU HAVE coeliac disease or a gluten allergy you will want to keep your eyes open for this ‘non-gluten’ product.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued a warning that Original Superfood Mix has been found to contain gluten above levels that would normally be permitted in a gluten-free product.

The gluten was found in a batch of barleygrass powder used in the production of Original Superfood Mix.

The company that produces Original Superfood Mix, Superlife Ltd, is recalling the implicated batch.

The contaminated batch is packet sizes of 100g and 300g that come with a best before date of 08/2016.
