Multilingual speakers rejoice! Google Search will now understand what languages you're using

The Android version is now able to automatically detect and understand five languages at once.

GOOGLE VOICE SEARCH already recognises 50 languages, ranging from Japanese to Dutch to French, but anytime you wanted to search in a different language, you would have to change it in settings.

Now, the latest update for Google Search will allow you to select up to five different languages at any one time. Instead of changing around, Google will automatically detect what language you’re using and present search results for it.

The idea is you can search for something in English, and then send an email in Spanish. Or you can allow a friend who is more proficient in a language other than English to still search for queries.

The catch is you can only use one language per sentence although Google say this is only the case for now.

For now, it’s only available for Android users so provided you have the latest version of Google Search installed, you can go into settings -> voice -> languages and then select the languages you want.
