IN NEWS SURE to bring back painful memories to all of us who have ever sat the Leaving Cert, and to create new ones for those who are currently actually sitting the Leaving Cert, the fabulous weather we’ve been experiencing is set to stretch through into next week.
Met Éireann says that today’s top temperatures will reach 25 degrees celsius once more, with only a smattering of showers on the south coast set to break the holiday weather experience.
There may be some thundery showers later on in the north midlands, but otherwise the country is set to be “very warm and dry”.
Fret not, that fine weather is set to continue through the weekend, with temperature highs in the mid-20s.
And Monday and Tuesday will also be mostly dry, albeit with temperatures starting to drop back slightly.
We’ll be looking at cooler, cloudier weather then from next mid-week onwards.
