Today marks Independent Record Store Day, but many have moved away from physical music mediums.

TODAY MARKS INDEPENDENT Record Store Day, set to be celebrated by thousands of shops across the globe.

While vinyl has made a comeback in recent years, CD sales are continuing to decline as more and more people switch to their digital counterparts.

For many, downloading a few .mp3 files to their smartphone or browsing through Spotify is enough, but some will argue that nothing beats unwrapping a new CD or vinyl, popping it on, and sitting back to have a listen.
