PHOTO SHARING GIANT Instagram have released details of the 10 most popular locations where images were ‘instagrammed’ in 2012.

The top 10 may not contain the locations you’d expect, however. Unless, of course, you figured it’d contain a shopping centre, two airports and three sports stadiums.

Oh yeah, and the top two most popular locations were both in Bangkok, Thailand.

  • 6. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

  • 7. Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles

  • 8. The Eiffel Tower in Paris

  • 9. Staples Center in Los Angeles

  • 10. Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles
