Men arrested in Cork over alleged sexual assaults released without charge

Two teenage girls have claimed they were assaulted by the men after attending the Jason Derulo concert at the ‘Live at the Marquee’ event.

TWO MEN WHO were arrested over allegations of serious sexual assaults on two teens in Cork last night have been released without charge.

The two men aged in their early 30s and 40s were arrested at 4am this morning.

It is reported that the two girls who were allegedly assaulted had been at the Jason Derulo concert at the ‘Live at the Marquee’ event and met a group of people in a nightclub afterwards.

The girls later contacted gardaí to say that they were sexually assaulted by two men in a vehicle.

The men who were arrested were questioned an Anglesea Street Garda Station today but have now been released without charge. Gardaí said a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
