Man accused of boy's murder to enter plea

Levi Aron is accused of kidnapping and murdering 8-year-old Leiby lKetzky after he walked home alone from summer camp in July 2011.

THE MAN ACCUSED of kidnapping and murdering 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky in New York last summer is to enter a plea today.

CNN reports that Levi Aron’s attorney did not confirm how he will plead.

However, NBC reports that he is expected to enter a guilty plea to avoid trial. It said that Kletzky’s family are also eager to avoid a trial.

Kletzky went missing after summer camp in July 2011 in the Hasidic Jewish area of Borough Park in New York.

Part of his remains were found in a refrigerator in Aron’s apartment two days later, with other parts found in a red suitcase in a bin a few blocks away.

Aron will appear in court at 2.15pm New York time this afternoon.
