A MAN IN his twenties has been arrested following a serious collision in Lucan.

The three-car crash took place earlier this evening on the N4.

One man, aged in his mid-40s, has been rushed to hospital with what gardaí have described as serious injuries.

The man arrested is behind held on a dangerous driving charge.

It is understood there are concerns over mental health issues.
