Man in court over assault in Dublin apartment as victim remains in critical condition

The man is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court tomorrow morning charged in connection with the investigation.

A MAN IN his 20s is due in court over an assault in Dublin in the early hours of this morning which left another man in critical condition.

The man is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court tomorrow morning charged in connection with the investigation.

The victim remains in critical condition in Beaumont Hospital after the assault at Kelly’s Row on Dorset Street in Dublin’s north inner city at around 1.45am.

Gardaí were called to the scene of the assault in an apartment on the street after a fight broke out. 

The seriously injured man was removed to the Mater Hospital by ambulance but has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
