Man due in court over crossbow attack in Belfast

The 32-year-old is charged after allegedly firing a crossbow in a nightclub in January.

THE PSNI SAYS it has charged a man in connection with a crossbow attack at a Belfast nightclub earlier this year.

The 32-year-old is due to appear in court tomorrow, charged with four counts of attempted grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage.

He allegedly fired the crossbow at Rain nightclub on Tomb Street on 11 January.

Although nobody was injured, at the time of the incident PSNI officers said they were treating it as an attempted murder.
