Man killed in M7 crash near Portlaoise
Driver died in hospital after his car collided with barrier on motorway.
A MAN HAS DIED AFTER the car he was driving collided with the centre barrier of the M7 motorway near Portlaoise, Co Laois yesterday afternoon.
The man was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital, where he later died.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out later today.
Gardaí have carried out a technical examination of the scene and the road has now re-0pened.
