A MAN AND a boy have been injured in a road traffic collision in Co Kilkenny.
The collision, involving a car and a van, happened on the L3401 in the townland of Clogga, between Piltown and Mooncoin, at around 12.30am on Tuesday.
The driver of the car, a man in his late teens, was brought to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of serious injuries.
A passenger in the car, a male juvenile, also attended University Hospital Waterford where he was treated for non-life-threatening injury.
A technical examination of the scene was conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
They are particularly appealing to any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and who were travelling in the area around the time of the collision to make this footage available to them.

A spokesperson said that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
