McWilliams tells Electric Picnic: Ireland needs to organise a default

ECONOMIST DAVID MCWILLIAMS has told festival-goers at the Electric Picnic that Ireland should actively pursue a debt default. Arguing that Ireland is better off defaulting sooner rather than later if it does so at all, McWilliams said “moral and financial logic” dictated that Ireland needed an  ”organised” default.
