A SMALL PLANE has crashed into an airport in Melbourne.
Nine News Melbourne reports that the plane crashed into the Direct Factory Outlet (DFO) near Essendon Airport.
It’s understood it was a charter plane and mayday calls were made before the crash.
There were five passengers on board the plane, but it is not known yet if there were people injured or killed in the buildings that were hit.
