PIC: This Minister has approved funding for a swimming pool, are you OK with that?
The press release subject line asks the important question…
SOMEONE HAS THAT Friday feeling down in the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport press office as an email went out today without obviously being checked before it did.
The subject line states: “Minister Ring approves allocation for Clara Swimming Pool…OK?” with the ‘OK’ probably not supposed to be there.
The press release is pretty anodyne stuff as it confirms that Tourism and Sport Minister Michael Ring has approved a grant of €784,000 for the refurbishment of a swimming pool in Clara.
Offaly County Council will now commence work on the project and we assume that Clara residents are pretty ‘OK’ with that.
