Monaghan death no longer treated as 'suspicious'

Body of man had been found at his home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE SAID THAT as a result of a post-mortem examination on a body found in Co Monaghan yesterday, they are no longer treating the death as suspicious.

The body of a man aged 57 was found in his house in Ballybay, Co Monaghan, early yesterday morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 3.30am yesterday.

Gardaí had initially launched an investigation into the death, pending the outcome of the post-mortem.
