Mr T pities the fool who don't invest in gold
A-Team star offers his financial advice for making money. Hint: it’s bright, shiny and he wears a lot of it.
A-TEAM AND ROCKY III STAR Mr T has appeared on US financial TV network, Bloomberg TV, to discuss a topic close to his heart – gold.
Mr T shared his investment secret with viewers: no, not Snickers bars – gold.
Gold has always been a bit special, according to Mr T, from the Incas, through “the Jesus and Moses days”. He said: “gold was one of the gifts that the three wise men brought to Jesus.”
He said he bought his first gold chains in 1977 for $129, and it took him three months to pay off the purchase.
Mr T’s appeared to promote the GoldPromise.com website, where people can sell their gold jewellery. He said that he has never sold out his fans in terms of his product endorsements, and that he took his time in deciding to represent the company:
Reuters reported that gold prices hit a record high today, although commentators haven’t mentioned whether Mr T’s advice influenced the rise.
