New Zealand PM: It’s a miracle nobody was killed

NEW ZEALAND’S prime minister John Key says it’s “an absolute miracle” that the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck New Zealand’s south island last night did not result in any human fatalities. The country has also managed to escape any tsunami alerts, and just two people were seriously injured. The quake struck 19 miles west of Christchurch.
