SAY WHAT YOU like about the current presidential campaign, it’s difficult to argue that the two candidates aren’t making themselves available for public scrutiny.
Catherine Connolly and Heather Humphreys featured in separate sit-down interview specials on RTÉ and Virgin Media One last night.
They were up early in the morning again today to make their way to Newstalk’s Dublin city centre studios for a debate helmed by Pat Kenny.
It was a lively encounter, with the two candidates grilled in their past records – but with so many media appearances by the pair, many listeners will now be more than familiar with their talking points and prepared answers.
