Poll: Would you support the expelling of the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland?

More than 5,000 people have signed a petition on the issue so far.

A PETITION CALLING for the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland to be expelled has received over 5,000 signatures over the weekend.

The organisers say expelling Boaz Modai would send out a clear diplomatic message.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Charlie Flanagan met with Modai on Friday, with the minster saying that the Government had “consistently urged both sides to exercise maximum restraint”.
