Man arrested over guns find at Cork courier depot
The weapons were imported from the US.
A 28-YEAR-old man was arrested this morning after guns were found at a courier depot in Cork.
As part of a joint operation between Revenue and An Garda Síochana the man was taken into custody and the two firearms and a quantity of ammunition seized.
The weapons were imported from the US.
A follow-up operation was put in place to apprehend those behind the illegal importation and the man was arrested following early morning house raids in the Mallow area of Cork.
