A government department got this Green Party councillor's name hopelessly wrong

POOR RODERIC O’GORMAN. It’s not much to ask that a government department gets your name right, particularly when you’re an elected representative.

But unfortunately the Green Party councillor in Fingal got a rather amusing name change in a letter from the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport this week.

Yep, ‘Roderic Broderick’ or ‘Councillor Broderick’ as the letter goes on to say.

Thankfully, O’Gorman seems to be taking it all quite well, noting it could even help his electoral chances.
