‘SCISSOR SISTER’ Linda Mulhall has been told she cannot appeal the severity of her sentence to the Supreme Court.

The Court of Criminal Appeal this morning rejected her petition to have such an appeal heard in the country’s uppermost court.

It rejected the arguments of her representatives that the case raised points of extreme public importance and thus deserved to be heard in the Supreme Court.

Linda was convicted of manslaughter, and her younger sister Charlotte convicted of murder, for the killing of Farah Swaleh Moor in March 2005.

Charlotte was given a life sentence in jail, while Linda was given 15 years.

Both have already appealed their sentences to the Court of Criminal Appeal.

The pair severed Moor’s head, limbs and penis and buried the head in a field in Tallaght after they disposed of the rest of his body parts in the Royal Canal, near Croke Park.

Moor had been dating the sisters’ mother Kathleen when they killed him.

The failure of Linda Mulhall’s appeal effectively ends the mother-of-four’s bid for an early release.
