BUCKLE UP MARVEL fans! There’s a new Hulk in town. Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now streaming exclusively on Disney+ and it’s a sight to behold.
Jennifer Walters, played by Tatiana Maslany, is an attorney specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. She also happens to be the cousin of Bruce Banner, known to audiences as the Incredible Hulk, one of the Avengers and all-round saviour of planet earth – who likes to smash things.
It’s no surprise, with a Hulk in the family, that things get complicated pretty quickly as Jen’s professional and personal life collide in spectacular fashion.
The nine-episode comedy series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination and Benedict Wong as Wong. We’re also treated to a fresh face and presumed foe in the form of Titania, played by Jameela Jamil.
She-Hulk has comedic roots in the original Stan Lee and John Buschema devised character and if the trailer is anything to go by, fans of the 1980 original will be pleased to hear it doesn’t stray too far.
Of course there will be action-packed scenes and a lot at stake, but what people can also look forward to with She-Hulk is a slice of reality!
What’s it like to go grocery shopping when you’re 6-foot-7 inches? How do you manage online dating with a green hue? Lots of laughs are expected as these questions get answered and this gamma-pumped lawyer navigates her new Hulkdom while simply trying to get by.
