He has been taken to the Mater Hospital in Dublin.

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Dublin city overnight.

The incident happened at around 2.50am in the Liffey Street area.

The teenager sustained stab wounds which have been described as serious but non-life threatening.

He has been taken to the Mater Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing.
