Antennagate

The iPhone Antenna song that Steve Jobs turned viral

Jobs played this video before the ‘Antennagate’ press conference.

JONATHAN MANN has become an unlikely internet sensation after Steve Jobs played a song he uploaded to YouTube in advance of his Antennagate press conference yesterday.

Mann – who writes, records and uploads a song to YouTube every day – had his ditty played by Jobs before the press conference, with the Apple CEO saying he saw the video and “wanted to share it.”

Mann – an Apple enthusiast – has posted a video explaining who he is to his legions of new viewers:

Mann says the response from Apple left him in “complete excitement and disbelief – I woke up and had an email from a dude from Apple saying, ‘Hey, we want to use your video.’ It was way beyond my expectations.”

Whatever about the quality of the song, we’re sure there are worse ways to get famous than to have Steve Jobs plug you to the world.
