COMING TO CINEMAS this weekend is a razor-sharp satirical black comedy with a stacked cast and guaranteed laughs.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Academy Award-winner Olivia Colman star in this darkly funny comedy about a seemingly perfect couple who are heading for divorce, locked in a battle of wills over their dream house.

The film shines a comedic and chaotic light on the pressures of marriage, parenthood, partnership and divorce, as Cumberbatch and Colman’s characters go from apparent bliss to torturing each other in the trailer below.

The cast is rounded out by other comedy favourites, including Andy Samberg of Brooklyn Nine-Nine fame and former Saturday Night Live cast member Kate McKinnon. Alison Janney, Ncuti Gatwa and Jamie Demetriou also feature.

The movie is directed by Jay Roach, best known for being behind the camera for the iconic Austin Powers series of films, as well as more recent dramatic work such as Bombshell. The screenplay is from the mind of Tony McNamara, who has written highly acclaimed films such as The Favourite and, most recently, Poor Things.
