While Ryanair has increased its personal baggage allowance, the airline is still opposed to allowing free cabin bags.
RYANAIR HAS INCREASED its personal baggage allowance, meaning that all passengers can now bring a 40 x 30 x 20cm bag (that’s 5cm more than before).
While the increase will allow passengers to bring a few extra items of clothing, the airline is opposed to allowing a free 7kg cabin bag in addition to a small personal bag.
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer Dara Brady said that customers who fail to comply with the airline’s “new generous limits” will have to pay an additional baggage fee at the boarding gate.
