Truck accident blocks off N7 southbound at Portlaoise

IF YOU’RE CAUGHT in slow-moving traffic on the N7 around Portlaoise this morning, this is why. A truck has jackknifed across the entire road southbound, shedding its load. As Pat Phelan’s photo shows, people caught in the traffic behind are doing their best to clear the way for vehicles to pass through.
