Two men arrested over €500k Mullingar cannabis haul

The two men were arrested after a search at an industrial unit on the outskirts of Mullingar yesterday afternoon.

TWO MEN have been arrested in connection with the seizure of cannabis plants in Mullingar yesterday.

The men were arrested after Gardaí carried out a planned search at an industrial unit on the outskirts of the town, and found a grow house within the unit.

The plants had an estimated street value of up to €500,000, pending analysis.

The two men, aged 37 and 42, are currently detained at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
