A 46-YEAR-OLD MAN has died after the van he was driving collided with a lorry near Kells, Co Meath.
The incident occurred at 10.30am at Lynch’s Cross on the Mullingar Road. The van driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver, a 66-year-old man, was taken to Navan Hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road is currently closed, pending a forensic examination.
A post mortem is due to be arranged on the deceased man.
