THE WHITE HOUSE undergoes a transformation at Christmas time thanks to the help of US army veterans and military families.
The above video released by the White House today gives an insight into the huge task of decorating 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC.
This year a total of 83 volunteers gathered just after Thanksgiving with the tinsel and ornaments for the various trees around the White House.
Some 70,000 people visit the historic building over the holiday season so it’s important to make a bit of a fuss.
They’ll also get a glimpse of a magnificent 300-pound gingerbread version of the White House, including mini versions of the Obama dogs Bo and Sunny.
