Body Recovered

Body found in River Barrow believed to be that of missing Carlow woman

Bernie Motley has been missing since January.

GARDAÍ HAVE CONFIRMED that a body was recovered from the River Barrow yesterday afternoon.

It’s believed to be that of 49-year-old Bernie Motley, who has been missing since 31 January.

Kilkenny sub aqua divers recovered the body from the River Barrow near Bagenalstown at around 1:30.

A post mortem will be carried out today.
