Man due in court after three people were stabbed at a Kildare GAA club

The incident happened at Rathcoffey GAA club in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A MAN IN his twenties is due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with an incident in which three people were stabbed at a GAA club in Kildare.

The incident happened at the clubhouse of Rathcoffey GAA at about 2am in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two men and a woman, also understood to be in their 20s, were all taken to Naas General Hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life threatening.

The man was arrested at the scene by gardaí based out of Clane Garda Station and has been held ahead of this morning’s court appearance.
