Gardaí probe fatal stabbing after man left dead at Tallaght house

No arrests have been made.

A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been stabbed to death at a house in Tallaght.

Gardaí say emergency services were called to an incident at a house on Deerpark Avenue at about 4.40am this morning.

When they arrived at the scene they found an unresponsive man with suspected stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead and his body remains at the scene.

The office of he State Pathologist has been contacted and gardaí have sealed off the area.

A technical examination of the scene is expected to continue throughout the weekend.

No arrests have yet been made and investigations into the fatal stabbing are ongoing.

Gardaí are asking witnesses to come forward and want to speak to anyone who may have been in the area between 4 am and 5.30 am and who may have seen or heard a disturbance.
